Thank you for popping in..At present 2012 Serpentim is believed to be the one and only collection focused solely on Python Breitensteini aka the Borneo short tail python..There is no other species held in this collection..We are in hopes of bringing this species to a new level in the world of herptoculture..We currently have a 14 years with these serpents and have done well with them..They are relatives to the red blood pythons but have a different nature about them. Like their kin ( P.curtus and P.brongersmai ) they are thick and short, often reffered to as shorties or fatties..We have only pure specie animals and are anal about hybridism amongst the group..We maintain a group that would fit the standard if there was one..Each and every animal contains the granular sub ocular scales that the 2001 paper described as common of the species..Our gallery shows color progression from baby to adult as well as much of our breeding stock..It is always evolving and advancing so that we can bring the best out in what we have to work with..Please keep in mind that this is one of the most/if not the most variable pythons there is..The perplexing genetic nature of this species is what makes us so interested..Thank you & best wishes with your herp endeavors..Tim & Teresa..
